Our Split Commercial Water Chillers are built on a sturdy stainless steel framework and come equipped with a flow switch that disables the chiller in the event of a pump failure. They feature reliable copper heat exchangers that are suitable for most applications, with an optional titanium upgrade available. While copper is generally not advisable for closed-loop aquarium setups, titanium is deemed reef tank safe. If your application is sensitive to copper, we recommend choosing the titanium upgrade.

Pump Recommendations

  • Pump Advice: Consider using Danner Magnetic Drive pumps rated for gph. Other pumps might work, but ensure they are under a maximum pressure of 10 psi. If you're considering a pool/spa pump or another horsepower-rated pump, consult our tech support first, as most HP-rated pumps can generate damaging pressures. Controller Insights

  • Digital Controller: This controller continually monitors the incoming water temperature, requiring consistent water flow for accurate readings. When the water exceeds your set temperature, the controller activates the compressor and fan to cool it down. Once the desired temperature is achieved, both the compressor and fan will turn off.
